Japanese Ink

The Japanese gel pens have fine tips that allow for more precision and accuracy than brushes but still offer vividness of colors that would be hard to achieve with traditional ink and/or pencil. I mostly use the gel pens as an intermediate tool between pure ink and paint.

Note: There is a lot of fine hand drawn detail in my art, including in much of my digital work, and the sharpness and clarity of line and color do not fully convey with online image quality limitations.
